Redesigned and implemented the SQL Server 2005 database schema for the user documentation feedback
process. Designed and created an XML file logging database for use with the C# tools and Enterprise

and the new managed API’s. Created and tested numerous T-SQL code scripts to test and check the
AdventureWorks data. Worked closely with PM, Dev, Test and UE to create useful and easy to underst and
sample code using best practices like FxCop and StyleCop. Assisted other samples developers and cleaned
up other source code to ready it for shipping. Worked very closely with the SMO PM and SQL Server UE
writers to learn the latest SQL Server product.
· Created numerous sample programs for the Host Integration Server 2000 (HIS) product to be shipped with
a new .NET Enterprise Server book, HIS product, SDK and MSDN updates. Samples were created in
VB.NET, C# and ASP.NET to demonstrate to customers how to use HIS 2000. Also created.NET Server
sample code for SQL Server 2000 using ADO.NET and the VS.NET design environment. Worked closely
with PM, Dev, Test and UE to create useful and easy to understand sample code using best practices.
Participated in an XBiz cross product group to create scenario based sample code for all .NET server
products.

· Husky (aka Janus) Content Management System for Clip Art Gallery – Migrated the VB, SQL and C++
application to a pure VB and SQL implementation with VB 6.0 and SQL Server 2000. Created additional VB
and SQL stored procedure code to import and export content from to and from new external sources of
clip art and other media. Performed adhoc queries for the content team and implemented many new
features specifically for the users. Extended and implemented new SQL Server tables to support web
applications, localization and new functionality using the ErWin tools. Tuned the databases and worked
closely with the web developers to ensure optimal performance. Worked closely with other developers,
PM and test to ensure the quality of the products. Began working with VB.NET to migrate Husky
application to the .NET framework.

InfoWeb Intranet for Sales & Marketing – Designed and completed version 1.0 of the InfoWeb Intranet
web site for use by Sales & Marketing personnel. Created VB programs to import content from external
sources such as the ProdRef (InfoBase) SQL Server database. Used VB to create numerous demonstrations
of InterPress concepts and prototyped various scenarios for use in InfoWeb. Designed and implemented
new SQL Server databases to support web applications and extend functionality. Created several ASP
templates using VBScript and constructed the site hierarchy in the InterPress Internet Publishing Pla tform
using supplied COM objects. Created several VB ActiveX controls and successfully implemented them in a
test system. Setup and administered several InterPress 1.0, 2.0 and 2.1 system installations. Worked
closely with several InterPress personnel to help improve the functionality.
· MSN Accounts and Billing SQL Server Based System – Debugged several C/C++ services designed to
provide cross server audit controls. Designed and completed Box Office Web (HTML, ASP, and VBScript)
Sign-Up web pages for version 1.5.2. Completed several server side objects (Visual C++, COM) to access
back-end SQL Server databases. Created a VB COM object to assist in the debugging of ASP web pages.
Converted and enhanced the SSO test bed (VB) application. Successfully resolved all CSW 1.5.2 (VB and
SQL Server) priority 1-3 bugs in just a few weeks after the primary developer left. Assisted in hiring a
new VB contractor to take over CSW development efforts. Administered VSS server for the SOBDEV group.
Designed and built the Echo bulk e-mail system database (ErWin, SQL Server) and server components (VB)
for MSN Marketing on Windows NT 4.0. Completed MCSE certification.
